CONTRACT
We process information where it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to enter into or fulfil our contract with you. This may include:
- Processing your booking
- Providing the services you selected
- Arranging and scheduling your service
- Communicating with you about your booking or service
- Processing payments and refunds
- Managing your subscription or recurring-payment arrangement
- Managing cancellations, account balances and services already provided
LEGAL OBLIGATION
We may process and retain certain information where required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, consumer-protection or regulatory obligations.
LEGITIMATE INTERESTS
We may process certain information where it is reasonably necessary for the legitimate operation, administration, security and improvement of our business, provided those interests do not override your data-protection rights.
This may include appropriate customer-service, fraud-prevention, service-management, record-keeping and business-administration activities.
CONSENT
Where consent is the appropriate lawful basis, we will ask for your consent. This may apply, for example, to certain marketing communications.
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that was lawfully carried out before consent was withdrawn.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH
We may share personal data with trusted third parties where this is reasonably necessary to operate our business, process your booking, take payment or provide the services you have requested.
These may include:
- Authorised service providers or subcontractors carrying out cleaning or related services on our behalf
- Payment-processing providers
- Website and IT service providers
- Customer-management, scheduling and booking-system providers
- Email, SMS and other communications providers
- Accounting, legal and other professional advisers
- Government, regulatory, tax or law-enforcement authorities where required by law
Where a third-party service provider requires customer information to provide a booked service, only information reasonably necessary to arrange, manage and deliver that service will be shared.
Where a provider processes personal data on our behalf, appropriate contractual and data-protection arrangements will be maintained where required.
WE DO NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES FOR MARKETING PURPOSES.
AUTHORISED THIRD-PARTY CLEANING SERVICE PROVIDERS
CWB Cleaning Services uses an authorised third-party service provider to carry out window, gutter, soffit & fascia and related cleaning services on our behalf.
To arrange and carry out these services, we may share information reasonably necessary for the provider to attend your property and complete the booked work. This may include:
- Your name
- Service address and Eircode
- Phone number
- Relevant property and booking information
- Services or optional extras selected
- Appointment information
- Relevant access instructions
The authorised service provider may use these details to contact you where reasonably necessary to arrange or carry out the service.
CWB Cleaning Services remains your primary point of contact for your service plan, payments, account queries, changes, complaints and service issues.
Information will only be shared for legitimate purposes connected with arranging, providing or managing the service. Where a separate consent is legally required for a particular use of your information, it will be requested separately.
PAYMENTS AND SAVED PAYMENT METHODS
Payments may be processed using third-party payment providers. Payment-card information is processed securely through the relevant payment provider, and CWB Cleaning Services does not need to store your full payment-card details directly.
Where you select a recurring payment plan, a valid payment method must be securely saved or linked with the payment provider so that scheduled payments and any properly due account balance can be processed in accordance with the applicable Terms & Conditions.
Information associated with your payment arrangement may include:
- Payment status
- Amounts paid or refunded
- Payment dates
- Selected payment frequency
- Future scheduled-payment information
- Outstanding account balances
- Payment-provider customer or transaction references
- Whether a payment method has been saved for future payments
We may retain appropriate transaction and payment records for administration, accounting, contractual and legal purposes.
SERVICE COMMUNICATIONS
We may use your contact details to send communications reasonably necessary to provide or administer your service. These may include booking confirmations, service dates, reminders, access requests, weather or rescheduling updates, payment information and account communications.
These service communications are separate from optional marketing communications.
MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Where applicable, we may contact you about services, offers or information in accordance with applicable law.
This may include reminders about rebooking a previous standalone annual gutter or soffit & fascia service, where permitted by law.
Where consent is required, marketing communications will only be sent where the appropriate consent has been obtained. Where the law permits marketing to an existing customer without separate consent, the applicable legal conditions and opt-out requirements will be followed.
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe or opt-out method provided, or by contacting us.
Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending communications necessary to administer your account, booking, payment or service.
HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to meet applicable legal, contractual, tax, accounting and regulatory requirements.
The appropriate retention period may depend on the type of information and the reason it is held. For example:
- Customer and service information may be retained while an account or subscription remains active and for an appropriate period afterwards.
- Booking, service, invoice, payment, refund and transaction records may be retained for the period required for accounting, tax, contractual and legal purposes.
- Records relating to cancellations, complaints, service issues or damage may be retained for an appropriate period where needed to administer or defend a claim or resolve a dispute.
- Information relating to enquiries that do not result in a service may be retained only for an appropriate period necessary to deal with the enquiry and associated administration.
- Marketing information may be retained until you withdraw consent or opt out, where consent is the applicable basis, subject to retaining appropriate suppression records where necessary.
Information will be securely deleted or anonymised when it is no longer reasonably required, subject to applicable legal obligations.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you

DATA SECURITY
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
Where third-party systems or providers are used, appropriate security and data-protection arrangements will be maintained where required.
Access to personal information is limited to those who reasonably require it for legitimate business or service purposes.
